Under the direction of the General Manager, the Logistics Manager focuses on administering the primary business operation of Priority Dispatch, namely the coordination of transportation and delivery services for Priority’s customers. This position also administers the delegation of services to, and coordination with, Independent Contractors.
This includes ensuring that IC’s are held accountable for Statements of Work and EPOD for customers.
The Logistics Manager will further administer and develop appropriate budgets (including billing and costing, and IC commission management), new customer-required routes, commissions, compliance, requisitions, scanning and sorting operations, dispatch activity, routing and scheduling of cabinets or other goods, distribution of products, and customer-required verifications and records.
The primary focus is to ensure superior customer service is achieved by ensuring high-quality performance to include professional, consistent, efficient, secured and controlled critical deliveries. Remains vigilant about streamlining operating efficiency, error elimination/resolution and increased productivity; utilizes PDI methodology and tools.

A typical day's activities include sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching, driving; normal finger dexterity, visual acuity (with or without corrective glasses), hearing, talking, typing and grasping are also required to carry out essential functions.
The associate is subject to indoor conditions primarily with most work occurring inside a warehouse and/or office. The Associate is subject to low to moderate noise levels such that normal talking is required to be heard.
