Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques and tailored behavior management strategies
• Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to childcare standards, mandated reporting laws, first aid and CPR protocols, and health guidelines
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address any concerns or special needs
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence while supporting childhood development principles
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instructional adjustments

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including toddler care, preschool teaching, or school-age instruction
• Strong knowledge of child development theories, early intervention practices, special education needs, and childhood welfare standards
• Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, classroom management, behavior management, and lesson planning
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community resources
