This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and offers the chance to work with a dedicated team utilizing the latest technology in laboratory medicine.

Schedule/Hours

• 4 days per week, 10-hour night shifts
• Shifts run from 9:00 pm to 7:30 am

Required Qualifications

• National certification through ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology)
• Completion of an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician program
• Proven expertise in laboratory operations including specimen preparation, analysis, and quality control
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety, compliance, and infection prevention protocols
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
• Adaptability to work effectively during night shifts
• Ability to collaborate well with fellow staff and communicate results clearly

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and analyses with precision and efficiency
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrumentation
• Evaluate and verify test results in accordance with quality assurance standards
• Document procedures, findings, and maintain accurate records
• Communicate critical findings to clinical staff in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and facility guidelines
• Support a culture of continuous improvement in laboratory processes
