Information Technology System Administrator

Overview An Information Technology System Administrator is required to support efforts related to multiple contractor and government furnished information systems in addition to tactical networks.

The scope of effort encompasses all system administrator duties, from initial startup and component design, continuing through development, hardware/software integration, security compliance, delivery and in service support. The candidate will be required to interface with NAVSEA, Government vendors, EB departments, and sub-contractor counterparts.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following: Administration and support of multiple Windows Server / desktop closed networks. Assist in support of Cisco network devices. Assist in support of encryption devices. Assist in support of HP printers and scanners. Travel up to 10% may be necessary to support job responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity / experience with Red-Hat Enterprise Linux.
