Senior Customers Support Representative (Inside Sales)

Position Overview

The Stella-Jones Railway team is seeking a Senior Customer Support Representative (Inside Sales) to join our sales team at our Pittsburgh office. In this role, you will be responsible for processing orders, quotes, bids and contracts as well as handling changes that occur.

Additionally, the position involves answering incoming calls, working directly with customers to foster strong relationships, and assisting Regional Sales Managers with quotes and gathering sales and marketing information. This specific role is open due to an internal promotion and will be based at our Pittsburgh office. Principal

Responsibilities

• Enters orders into ERP system * Provide quotes and assist Regional Sales Managers * Work closely with customers * Help coordinate shipments with Plants and Transportation Department * Review bid packages and coordinate with other staff to ensure completion and submission prior to deadline * Maintain library of bid submission documents * Complete bid submission in customer portals * Update orders with revised delivery dates * Conduct weekly order status meetings with assigned manufacturing plants * Provides assistance to Finance with collection of accounts receivables of any delinquent accounts by determining and resolving any product and/or customer service issue * Assists with managing inventories, orders and related transactions for assigned customers and territories * Verifies and posts details of business transactions to spreadsheets and databases * Investigates and resolves customer complaints and/or issues in an urgent manner * Reconciles report discrepancies and problems * Participates and contributes to company safety program * Performs other job-related duties as assigned Note: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma with Vocational School or some college courses preferred Preferred areas of study include Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting * Experience: One or more years of Customer Service and/or Contract Management experience * Proficient in computer skills and knowledge of software programs, Excel, Word, Outlook & ERP systems. Knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana a plus. * Excellent communication skills and proactive attitude with exceptional attention to detail * Ability to work in a dynamic team environment Employee
