Job Description

Metropolitan Window Company is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the day-to-day financial operations of our family-owned and operated window and door business. This is a high-trust, high-impact position where you will work directly with ownership, run the daily financial operations, and help bring clarity, structure, and reporting to a growing company.

We are a well-established, respected local window and door company that values doing the right thing, strong customer relationships, and building a business that lasts. The right person will manage all accounting functions, likes solving problems, and enjoys being hands-on in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the day-to-day financial operations
• Maintain accurate books and financial records
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Process and oversee payroll and benefits
• Maintain accurate job costing by project
• Prepare financial reports
• Maintain organized financial records, documentation, and internal processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 8+ years of accounting experience
• CPA designation
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks or related accounting software
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Background B2C, home services, construction, or installation-based businesses
