Financial Controller

Enterprise Bank in the North Hills of Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to support the financial management and strategic growth of our organization. This key position will play an important role in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, profitability measurement, and decision support.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and exceptional analytical skills. The candidate should have the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights and confidently communicate with other members of the management team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Coordinate monthly financial closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting work papers.
• Budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor key performance indicators and identify trends impacting financial performance.
• Support strategic planning initiatives through financial analysis and scenario modeling.
• Work with relationship managers on analysis of borrower financial statements
• Supervision of accounting staff
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, efficiency, and profitability.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives that support growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of financial leadership, accounting, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
• Advanced Excel and analytical capabilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence business decisions.
