Compliance Officer

KeyBank is looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about helping our customers and ensuring we meet all state and federal regulations. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, and meticulous attention to detail.

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the bank’s compliance program. This includes ensuring that all staff members are up to date on applicable laws, regulations, and procedures.

The Compliance Officer will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that KeyBank meets all applicable regulations and that our customers’ trust in us is maintained.To be considered for this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, coupled with at least five years of experience in a compliance-related role.

Knowledge of banking regulations, customer service principles, and the financial services industry is also required. Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage the bank’s compliance program

Ensure all staff members are up to date on applicable laws, regulations, and procedures

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure KeyBank meets all applicable regulations

Maintain customer trust in the bank

Monitor and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations

Provide guidance to staff members on compliance-related matters

Investigate and report any compliance issues

Develop and maintain compliance risk management systems

Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management

Liaise with external auditors and regulators on compliance-related issues
