Position

Regenexx Pittsburgh is looking for a friendly, organized and dependable Administrative Assistant/Front Office Receptionist to join our team at our medical office!

Our office focuses on regenerative medicine and interventional procedures. This is a daylight Monday through Friday, 9 hour day position- with alternating Fridays off, allowing for a nice work/life balance! Previous medical/health insurance verification experience required, Medical office experience also required.

Responsibilities include

• Greeting and checking in patients with a warm, professional attitude
• Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits
• Checking insurance information for accuracy
• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Maintaining accurate patient records

Administrative duties may include answering and directing incoming phone calls, greeting patients upon arrival, insurance verification, collecting co-payments, updating patient demographic information, scheduling and confirming appointments.

Other Related Duties

• Fax queue routing
• Organizing outgoing physician correspondence
• Overseeing automated confirmation calls

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required
• Medical office experience preferred
• Previous customer service or front desk experience is a plus
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Proficient with computers and electronic medical records
