Advanced Full Stack Developer

Responsibilitieslead the design and implementation of data systems with both web and database componentsanalyze and maintain existing databases and web interfacesadd new features to operational systemsimplement signal processing and other algorithms with efficient softwaretest with real dataprovide applications to front-line customer facilitiescreate effective user interfaces and data visualization toolsstay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies and experiment with new technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into RRC projectswork across all functional areas: systems engineering, development, integration and test, deployment and O&M

Requirements

• Degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Minimum 8 years' experience in full-stack application development
• Experience building scalable web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIsStrong understanding of relational databases and data modeling
• Proficient in modern software engineering practices for testability and readability
• Proficient in C++ and Python in LINUX environmentsJavaScript, CSS, HTMLDemonstrated ability to design software systems to ensure they achieve functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
• US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREDFamiliarity with JavaScript frameworks including Vue, React, Angular (Preferred)
• Advanced SQL query optimization (Preferred)
• Database performance tuning (Preferred)
• Stored procedures, indexing, and schema design (Preferred)DevOps and Cloud computing Experience (Gitlab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker, Kubernetes, PIP) (Preferred)
• Agile development processes (Preferred)
• Ability to mentor other engineers and provide technical advice to project leaders (Preferred)
