Property Tax Admin

The Property Tax Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and customer service support. This position is responsible for maintaining office operations, processing correspondence, managing records, coordinating communications, and supporting staff with a variety of administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain office supplies and monitor inventory levels.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls appropriately.
• Administer and coordinate unit communications.
• Process, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
• Prepare and distribute routine district correspondence to external agencies.
• Monitor and distribute incoming fax communications.
• Maintain general correspondence directories, contact lists, and distribution lists.
• Coordinate requests for boxed documents from Iron Mountain and ensure timely retrieval and delivery.
• Maintain employee equipment inventory records.
• Perform filing, data entry, document management, and report tracking.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional administrative training or coursework is preferred.
• Experience in an administrative support or office assistant role.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
• Experience performing data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
• Experience processing mail, maintaining records, and managing office inventory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
