Duties

• Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating curriculum development and innovative learning technology.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive, inclusive environment conducive to learning and growth.
• Teach core subjects such as literacy education, math, and science while integrating hands-on activities and library services to enrich student experiences.
• Conduct assessments including standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Provide support for children with diverse needs, including special education, working with individuals with autism, and early intervention strategies.
• Mentor and collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and parents to foster a supportive community focused on childhood development and behavior management.
• Incorporate physical education activities and promote social-emotional skills through mentoring, tutoring, and classroom routines.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral observations in compliance with education administration standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; certification in early childhood education or equivalent required.
• Proven classroom experience working with young children in a preschool or elementary setting.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management techniques.
• Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating learning technology tools.
• Familiarity with special education practices, behavior management strategies, and working with children with autism or other special needs.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, colleagues, and administrative staff effectively.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and individual needs of students.

Pay: $49,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
