Stone Sales Consultant & Estimator

Dream Home Design is a leading custom cabinetry and home renovation company specializing in high-quality residential and commercial projects throughout the Greater Phoenix area. We are expanding our stone fabrication division and are looking for a knowledgeable, customer-focused Stone Sales Consultant & Estimator to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Stone Sales Consultant & Estimator is responsible for guiding customers through the entire sales process—from the initial consultation and material selection to estimating, project coordination, and final sale.

This role requires strong customer service skills, technical knowledge of stone products, and the ability to prepare accurate estimates while maintaining excellent communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners, builders, contractors, designers, and walk-in customers.
• Assist clients in selecting quartz, granite, marble, porcelain, and other natural and engineered stone products.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate estimates.
• Measure or review project dimensions for quoting purposes.
• Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and sales contracts.
• Follow up on estimates to convert opportunities into sales.
• Coordinate with fabrication, production, and installation teams to ensure project accuracy and timely completion.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain accurate customer records using company software.
• Stay informed on current industry trends, materials, and fabrication techniques.
• Help maintain an organized and professional showroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in stone fabrication, countertop sales, cabinetry, construction estimating, kitchen and bath design, or a related industry.
• Experience preparing estimates and proposals.
• Strong understanding of granite, quartz, marble, porcelain, and solid surface materials is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Excellent communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or estimating software is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in countertop fabrication or installation.
• Knowledge of cabinet layouts and kitchen design.
• Experience working with contractors, builders, and interior designers.
