Mid-Level Security Engineer/Philly hybrid

A leading retail organization headquartered in Center City Philadelphia is looking to add a Mid-Level Security Engineer to its growing cybersecurity team. This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity requiring three days onsite each week.

You'll work across a modern security environment, supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, endpoint security, identity management, and security operations while helping protect critical business systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
• Experience with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, IAM, or vulnerability management
• Knowledge of Windows and cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
• Familiarity with networking, firewalls, and security best practices
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in retail or enterprise environments
• Exposure to Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, or similar tools
• Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or CISSP (or working toward one)
• Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python
