Senior 3D Artist

Hypemasters is a fast-growing game development company behind World War Armies and other upcoming titles. We’re building strategy games that combine depth, innovation, and community-driven gameplay. Our players are at the core of everything we do, and we’re looking for someone who shares that belief.

We are looking for a Senior 3D Artist to take ownership of the visual quality and artistic direction of 3D assets for our Unity-based mobile project. You will play a key role in shaping the look and feel of the game, ensuring assets are both visually striking and optimized for performance.

Your Mission

• Create high-quality 3D assets including environments, props, and vehicles that align with the game’s artistic vision
• Own the full asset pipeline from concept through modeling, texturing, and in-engine implementation.
• Collaborate closely with designers, animators, and developers to ensure assets integrate seamlessly into gameplay.
• Maintain consistency and high visual standards across all in-game assets.
• Provide feedback and mentorship to other artists, helping to elevate the overall quality of the team’s output.
• Optimize assets for mobile platforms, balancing visual fidelity with performance constraints.
• Contribute to the evolution of the game’s visual style and artistic direction.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a 3D Artist.
• Proven experience working on mobile games, with at least one shipped title.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality 3D art for games (environments, props, or vehicles).
• Expertise in industry-standard tools (e.g. Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter/Designer).
• Solid understanding of modelling, UVs, texturing, lighting, and composition.
• Experience working in Unity or similar game engines.
• Strong eye for detail, form, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on mobile games or performance-constrained platforms.
• Familiarity with PBR workflows and stylized/realistic art pipelines.
• Basic understanding of shaders and real-time rendering workflows.
