Abu Dhabi City Municipality is aggressively recruiting highly analytical, visionary Urban Planners to design and regulate the Emirate's booming infrastructure grid. You will act as the ultimate architectural authority, responsible for evaluating complex master plans, enforcing Estidama sustainability codes, and issuing critical zoning approvals for massive commercial developments.

What You Actually Need (Requirements):

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or Civil Engineering.4 to 7 years of heavily verified city planning and spatial analysis experience within the GCC.Mandatory active membership with the UAE Society of Engineers (SOE).

Advanced, plug-and-play proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.Deep, practical knowledge of Abu Dhabi 2030 Vision zoning laws and Estidama guidelines.

Your Daily Reality (Responsibilities):

Auditing and approving large-scale developer blueprints to ensure 100% compliance with federal building codes.

Conducting advanced GIS spatial modeling to optimize the placement of future civic amenities and road networks.

Issuing No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to private contractors after rigorous environmental and structural vetting.

Defending municipal zoning decisions in high-stakes meetings with senior project managers and government stakeholders."
