Early Years Teacher

Position Details

• Role: Early Years Teacher
• Phase: Primary School
• Curriculum: IB Primary Years Programe (PYP), with English National Curriculum objectives embedded throughout the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver play-based, and child-led learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework .
• Create a nurturing, inspiring and purposeful environment that encourages exploration, independence and a love for learning.
• Use assessment effectively to drive progress and raise attainment in core subjects
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development in line with IB PYP principles
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents through effective communication on child's progress, achievements and next steps.

Qualifications

Essential

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Years Education or a relevant subject .
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the elementary/primary level
• Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing.
• Proven ability to accelerate student progress
• Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills

Desirable

• Experience of the IB Primary Years Programe
• Experience of the English National Curriculum
