Job Description

Posada La Rubia is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead kitchen operations, menu execution, and culinary team management. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining food quality, ensuring efficient kitchen performance, and supporting the restaurant’s culinary vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations
• Develop, plan, and update menus in line with company standards and guest expectations
• Manage food preparation, presentation, and quality control procedures
• Oversee kitchen staff scheduling, training, and performance management
• Monitor food costs, inventory levels, and supplier coordination
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and sanitation regulations
• Collaborate with management to support operational goals and guest satisfaction

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or senior culinary leader
• Strong knowledge of kitchen management, food preparation techniques, and menu development
• Experience managing kitchen teams in restaurant or hospitality environments
• Understanding of food cost control, inventory management, and operational planning
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Culinary diploma or professional culinary training preferred
