General Foreman

We are currently seeking an experienced General Foreman for a building construction project in Ajman. Mandatory experience in high-rise building projects. Apply only if you are willing to relocate to Ajman.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a General Foreman on building construction projects.
• Previous UAE construction experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete (RCC), blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, finishing works, and other building construction activities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of UAE construction practices and health & safety regulations.
• Ability to coordinate with project engineers, site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all daily site activities for building construction.
• Plan and monitor work progress to ensure project milestones are achieved on time.
• Manage site supervisors, foremen, skilled workers, and subcontractors.
• Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently.
• Ensure all construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate structural, architectural, and finishing works to avoid delays and conflicts.
• Monitor productivity and resolve site issues promptly.
• Enforce all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure safe working practices are followed.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
• Maintain daily site reports, progress updates, and workforce records.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of the construction site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Proficient in coordinating multiple construction activities simultaneously.

Pay: Up to AED8,000.00 per month
