Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on HVAC Supervisor to lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will manage a team of technicians and duct-fitters, ensuring all work is executed according to shop drawings and project timelines.

The ideal candidate has deep technical knowledge of refrigerant systems and air distribution, with a focus on high-quality workmanship and site safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise daily activities for HVAC technicians, duct-fitters, and insulators to ensure productivity and quality.
• Installation Oversight: Oversee the installation of AHUs, FCUs, chillers, split units, and associated ductwork and chilled water piping.
• Drawing Execution: Translate HVAC shop drawings and coordination drawings into field tasks for the installation crew.
• Quality Control: Conduct pressure tests for piping and leak tests for ductwork (smoke tests) before insulation and closing of ceilings.
• Material Coordination: Manage on-site HVAC inventory, ensuring materials like copper piping, insulation, and refrigerants are available and used efficiently.
• System Startup: Assist the commissioning team in the initial startup and balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems to ensure design airflow and cooling.
• Safety Enforcement: Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring the team uses proper PPE and follows hot-work permits for welding/brazing.

Key Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a Technical Trade Certificate in HVAC/Refrigeration.
• Experience: 5–10 years of experience in HVAC installation, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role in the UAE/GCC.
• Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of DX systems, chilled water systems, duct fabrication, and brazing techniques.
• Troubleshooting: Strong ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment on-site.
• Communication: Good command of English; ability to communicate in Hindi/Urdu is highly beneficial for managing site labor.
• Software: Basic ability to read and navigate AutoCAD drawings is a plus.
