SAP MM Consultant (L3)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant to support a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation for a leading organization in the Power Generation Equipment – Sales, Rental & Service sector.

The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP MM solutions to streamline procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, material planning, and vendor management. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP MM, procurement lifecycle management, inventory optimization, and integration with logistics, finance, and maintenance processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 6–8 years of SAP consulting experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM).
• Experience in at least two end-to-end SAP S/4HANA MM implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in:

o Procurement Lifecycle Management

o Purchase Requisitions & Purchase Orders

o Request for Quotation (RFQ) & Quotation Management

o Source Determination & Vendor Evaluation

o Inventory Management

o Goods Receipt & Goods Issue

o Invoice Verification

o Material Master & Vendor Master Data

o Valuation & Account Determination

o Subcontracting, Stock Transport Orders (STO), and Consignment Processes

• Experience integrating SAP MM with SAP SD, FI/CO, PM, EWM, TM, Ariba, and SAP Business Network.
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite/CPI, APIs, IDocs, and SAP Activate Methodology.
• Knowledge of procurement, spare parts management, equipment procurement, inventory control, warehouse operations, and supplier collaboration.
• Experience in the Power Generation Equipment, Industrial Equipment, Heavy Engineering, Manufacturing, Engineering Services, or Utilities sector is preferred.
• SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work onsite at the client location in Dubai, UAE or Dammam, KSA.
• Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Materials Management (MM) solutions.
• Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops and gather business requirements related to procurement, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
• Configure procurement processes including purchase requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, scheduling agreements, and release strategies.
• Configure inventory management processes including goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, physical inventory, batch management, valuation, and invoice verification.
• Design and implement procurement processes supporting equipment manufacturing, project procurement, spare parts management, equipment rentals, and after-sales service operations.
• Integrate SAP MM with SAP FI/CO, SD, PM, EWM, TM, Ariba, Business Network, and other SAP S/4HANA modules to ensure seamless end-to-end business processes.
• Prepare functional specifications and support technical developments, reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements where required.
• Support data migration, material and vendor master data validation, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Cutover, Go-Live, Hypercare, and post-go-live production support.
• Conduct end-user training, knowledge transfer sessions, and provide functional guidance to procurement, warehouse, inventory, and business users.
