Job Purpose &

Responsibilities

• The IT Security Administrator is responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of the AURAKs information systems.
• This role involves implementing security measures, monitoring system activity, conducting regular security assessments, and responding to security incidents.
• The IT Security Administrator should work closely with other ICT Officer and the SOC team to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Minimum Qualification and Education
• Academic
• Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Professional/Vocational
• Essential: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Comp
• TIA Security
• Desirable: Advanced certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly desirable.
• Required Knowledge And Skills Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security architectures.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA). Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Work Experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of verifiable experience in roles directly related to IT security.
• Language Proficiency

Required

Fluent in English and Arabic.
