Quantity Surveyor

• Preparing Budgetary cost advice for all work elements of the project.
• Preparing bid summaries for review and approval (Sub Contract & Suppliers).
• Preparing letter of intent.
• Preparing draft cost/time impacts and claims.
• Interim valuations and variation log.
• Monitoring project requisitions and cost.
• Preparing sub-contract agreements.
• Sub-contractor interim payments.
• Preparation of cash flow and monthly updates.
• Assist in the preparation of contractual correspondence in conjunction with the Project Manager.
• Monthly cost value analysis / reconciliation.
• Project final account/Sub Contractors and Suppliers Final Accounts.

Minimum 3 years of UAE based experience as Quantity Surveyor; Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key experience requirements: Preparation of BOQS and Take-Offs; Cost Estimation and Tendering Procedure; Knowledge of UAE Construction Practices and Local Market rates; Contract Administration (e.g. Handling Variations, Claims); Valuations and Payment Certifications; Site Coordination with Engineers, Consultants and Contractors; Strong Commercial Awareness and Budget Control Skills; A valid UAE driver’s license.
