Duty Engineer – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

As a Duty Engineer at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, you will ensure the hotel’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems operate safely and efficiently, contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to guarantee safety and performance.
• Respond promptly to engineering service calls, minimizing guest disruption.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in line with health and safety regulations.
• Support team training, budgeting and scheduling activities.
• Test fire prevention systems and supervise repair works to uphold premium hotel standards.
• Participate in recruitment, evaluate new team members and oversee contractor performance.
