Develop and implement standard operating procedures for housekeeping, transportation, pantry, stationery, security, office layout, and statutory record-keeping.

Coordinate with municipal authorities for site approvals, building permits, site demarcation, and completion certificates.

Liaise with civil defense authorities to obtain temporary power supply permissions and completion certificates.

Manage contracts with vendors for worker and staff transportation, ensuring timely arrival at the site.

Monitor attendance for staff and workmen using automated systems, generating reports for salary payouts and leave accounting.

Track and record overtime for workmen, creating management information systems (MIS) reports on extra hours worked and obtaining periodic approvals from the project head.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations related to service conditions, advising management on corrective actions for any defaults or omissions.

Handle travel arrangements for staff and operatives, including ticketing and airport transfers, maintaining local purchase orders (LPO) for issued travel tickets.

Monitor absenteeism at sites, analyze reasons, and advise management on actions to reduce it.

Develop a leave plan for all staff and workmen in consultation with construction managers/site in-charges, spreading leaves throughout the year and obtaining project manager approval.

Deal with municipal matters related to permits, submissions, renewals for vehicles, waste disposal, ingress and egress, and vehicle parking.

Monitor labor deployment and reconciliation through physical counting.

Ensure proper recording of visitors to the project, issuing badges, and regulating traffic through a project reception office.

Manage requisitions for stationery and office furniture/equipment, maintaining necessary documents for inspection and audit.

Oversee the office pantry operations, ensuring diligent use of expendables within established budgets.
