Role Description The Diet Food Chef at K7 COFFEE CO. is a full-time, on-site role based in Ras Al Khaimah. The person in this role prepares and cooks diet-friendly dishes, focusing on balanced nutrition, portion control, and appealing presentation.

Daily tasks include planning menus with healthy options, sourcing and preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and ensuring consistency in taste and quality. The Diet Food Chef collaborates with management and front-of-house team members to update menu items, respond to guest preferences, and support special dietary needs such as low-calorie, low-sugar, or high-protein options.

The role also involves monitoring inventory, minimizing food waste, and following all food safety and local health regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing diet-focused, healthy cuisine, with a strong understanding of nutrition and balanced meals.
• Proficiency in kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking methods, portioning, and plating.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and compliance with local health regulations.
• Ability to plan menus, manage inventory, and organize workstations efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen and service staff.
• Previous experience as a chef or cook in a café, restaurant, or similar setting; experience with healthy or diet-based menus is an advantage.
• Relevant culinary training or certification is preferred; openness to ongoing learning and skill development is expected.
