Position Summary

The Head of Projects is responsible for driving the company's B2B sales strategy by securing and managing high-value projects across the UAE and GCC. The role focuses on developing relationships with developers, consultants, architects, contractors, hospitality groups, government entities, and corporate clients to generate sustainable project business across furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, flooring, curtains, landscaping, and other home solution categories.

The role requires a commercially driven leader with strong expertise in business development, key account management, project sales, contract negotiations, and strategic relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales Strategy

• Develop and execute the B2B sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, education, and government sectors.
• Build relationships with developers, consultants, architects, interior designers, contractors, and project owners.
• Drive market expansion across the UAE and selected GCC markets.

2. Project Sales & Key Account Management

• Own the complete project sales pipeline from lead generation to contract award.
• Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close high-value projects.
• Develop strategic partnerships with key clients and ensure long-term business relationships.
• Monitor project opportunities through market intelligence and tender platforms.

3. Project Coordination

• Work closely with Design, Estimation, Procurement, Manufacturing, Installation, and Operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Ensure customer expectations, timelines, and contractual commitments are met.
• Support project handover and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Commercial Performance

• Achieve annual sales, gross margin, and profitability targets.
• Monitor sales forecasts, pipeline health, order conversion, and project profitability.
• Ensure commercial risks are effectively managed during contract negotiations.

5. Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the Projects Sales team.
• Establish sales KPIs, monitor performance, and provide coaching and mentoring.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer relationships, and business growth.

6. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Prepare regular reports on sales pipeline, project awards, revenue forecasts, customer performance, and market trends.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, CRM utilization, and business development strategies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be measured across

• Financial: Revenue Growth, Gross Margin, Project Profitability
• Sales: Project Awards, Sales Pipeline Value, Tender Success Rate, Order Conversion Ratio, New Client Acquisition
• Customer: Client Retention, Key Account Growth, Customer Satisfaction
• Operations: On-time Project Handover Support, Forecast Accuracy
• People: Team Productivity, Employee Development, Sales Performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• MBA is preferred.

Experience

• 12–18+ years of experience in B2B project sales within interiors, building materials, furniture, fit-out, construction, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role managing project sales.
• Proven network with developers, consultants, architects, contractors, and government organizations across the UAE.

Strong experience in contract negotiations, key account management, and large project acquisition.
