Job Purpose
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions for our organization. Responsible for understanding business requirements, assessing existing IT infrastructure, and developing cloud architecture that aligns with the companys goals.
- To work with DevOps teams in building, deploy, and migrate applications
- To maintain stable and reliable cloud environments by efficient usage of resources, timely resolution of operating incidents/problems, and effective implementation of system applications adhering to standard operating procedures to meet the Bank’s business and functional needs and the Department’s commitments.
- To identify optimal solutions, modify systems, and ensure they meet the operational and security needs on cloud.
- To deploy, debug, and execute cloud initiatives, leveraging relevant base line standards , certifications and troubleshooting skills.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and highly available cloud setup and cloud-based applications and services
- To monitor cost controls on cloud, proficient use of AI and ML tools for MIS reporting. Key Accountabilities1. To be Involved in allocating work to the Network-Security and Cloud Engineers, providing guidance and ensuring timely completion of work.2. Strategize, Lead and oversee key initiatives related to network-Security and cloud related to ensure the bank is abreast with the latest technology available. 3. Will be involved in monitoring the implementation of cloud infrastructure of the Bank, reconfiguring them as and where required so as to ensure optimum cloud performance and secured access to the banking applications.4. Will be involved in monitoring the implementation of cloud workloads and application of the Bank, reconfiguring them as and where required so as to ensure optimum performance for accessing cloud services.5. Will resolve certain critical incidents/problems by contacting the vendors, if required, to ensure the timely resolution of networking outages and continuity of performance6. Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud resources.7. Will report accurately and quickly any unsolved problems to higher levels complying with the escalation procedure to ensure continuous support to the user departments8. Ensuring that support services are provided and Service Level Agreements are met.9. Will interact with the other units of the IS&T department and also with other business units, as and when required for the purpose of Network Capacity Planning and associated activities. 10. Will be involved in performance and competency management of the team of Cloud Engineers, and will provide guidance to them in terms of selecting appropriate Training programs and competency enhancement initiatives.11. Manage and optimize cloud resources (compute, network, security) to ensure scalability and performance. - 12 years’ experience of which 4-5 years in a leadership role in Cloud Migration in a Bank or similar organization
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience in Cloud Security and Layered Controls
- Familiarity with Cloud DevOps practices and tools
- Expertise in cloud security, networking, and infrastructure design.
- Hands-on experience with cloud migration and deployment.
- Experience in Vendor Management,
- Experience in Disaster Recovery Planning
- Age group 30 to 35 yearsKnowledge, Skills and Attributes (Required)
