Ai-native Product Engineer

About FIPERA FIPERA is a Dubai-based software studio building a growing portfolio of iOS apps and games (13+ titles shipped or in the pipeline), plus neofashion.ai, an AI-driven fashion platform. We build fast, local-first, privacy-respecting products with honest monetization — no dark patterns, no ad-stuffed experiences. We are an AI-native company.

Products are built through AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor) driven by detailed specs — not by hand-writing every line. You will work directly with the founder, who defines product vision and specs; you turn those specs into shipped, stable, high-quality apps. ⸻

The Role

• You are the engineering engine of the studio.
• This is a broad, hands-on role — you own the full technical execution across the portfolio.
• On any given week you might:
• Take a new app spec and build it end-to-end with Claude Code / Cursor
• Fix bugs reported by users or surfaced by Sentry across live apps
• Review, refactor, and harden AI-generated code before release
• Ship App Store updates (EAS builds, Test
• Flight, release management)
• Set up and maintain agent workflows: repos, branches, PRs, CI, multi-agent collaboration on the same codebase
• Optimize AI token usage and agent costs across projects
• Build backend pieces (Supabase Edge Functions, auth, RLS) only where truly needed
• Integrate SDKs: Revenue
• Cat, Game Center, AdMob (selected apps), analytics This is NOT a narrow 'senior dev writes features' role.
• You'll wear many hats, and the scope will evolve with the portfolio. ⸻ You Must Be Fluent With
• AI coding tools: Cursor and Claude Code as daily drivers (Codex or similar also welcome). You know how to spec, prompt, steer, and verify agent output — and you can read and fix the code yourself when the agent gets it wrong.
• Mobile stack: React Native + Expo + TypeScript, expo-router, EAS Build/Submit, App Store release flow.
• Backend & infra: Supabase (Postgres, Auth, RLS, Edge Functions); Firebase familiarity.
• Quality & ops: Sentry (or equivalent crash/error monitoring), GitHub (branching, PRs, code review), basic CI.
• Collaboration: Slack, async communication, writing clear technical updates in English.

• Mid-to-senior level: you can own a codebase alone, without a team around you - AI-first mindset: you genuinely work faster with agents, and you know their failure modes - Pragmatic shipper: you prefer a working v1 this week over a perfect v1 next month - Self-managing: remote-first, async-first, no hand-holding needed - Strong written English ⸻ How We Work - Fully remote or Hybrid. Work from anywhere; overlap of at least 3-4 hours with Dubai time (GMT+4) required. - Async by default.
