Risk Assistant / Internal Audit

Our client a leading Insurance Company, is looking for an Risk Assistant/ Internal Audit to join their team in Fujairah In this role, your main responsibilities will include: Following up of COSO integrated to the ERM framework Preparing, evaluating and analyzing qualitative and quantitative risk data Maintaining the Risk register for all areas ensuring these are regularly reviewed and updated Ensuring timely and transparent risk information communication with internal stakeholders Providing advice and guidance to the functions on the most appropriate risk management strategies and responses Conducting research as necessary to support implementation and analysis Improving knowledge and technical expertise in risk management Assisting the Internal Control Manager in conducting internal audit assignments Analyzing data obtained or evidence of deficiencies in controls, duplication of efforts, extravagance, fraud or lack of compliance with managements established policies and procedures Reviewing records pertaining to company’s assets to ensure that they are safeguarded against all risks and resources are used effectively and economically Collecting and preparing audit paperwork in organized manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting along with CA/ Inter CA/ACCA Experience: Two years’ experience in any Major External Audit firm/ Internal Auditing Special Skills
• Computer expertise including proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with deadlines and without close supervision
