High voltage Technician

We are looking for an experienced and certified High Voltage Technician to join our EV service team. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining high-voltage systems in electric vehicles (EVs) such as Tesla, BYD, Rox, Avatar, and other premium EV brands. The role demands advanced technical knowledge, strong safety awareness, and the ability to deliver precise and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of high-voltage systems, including batteries, inverters, electric motors, charging systems, and DC-DC converters.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on EV systems according to OEM standards.
• Safely handle and service high-voltage batteries, including dismantling, module replacement, and thermal management.
• Use OEM diagnostic tools and software for fault detection and ECU updates/programming.
• Maintain compliance with high-voltage safety protocols, using PPE and insulated tools.
• Prepare detailed service reports and support warranty-related documentation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians when required.
• Liaise with OEM technical representatives for complex repair cases.

Qualifications Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in EV high-voltage system diagnostics and repairs.
• Certified in High Voltage EV Systems (Tesla, BYD, or equivalent OEM/recognized authority certification).
• Strong knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS), regenerative braking, and CAN/LIN bus communication.
• Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical bulletins.
• Ability to work with charging technologies (AC, DC fast charging, CCS, and CHAdeMO). Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong adherence to safety practices for handling systems up to 1000V DC

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
