Drilling & Workover Advisor – Need only Australia, New Zealand Nationals

Experience: 6-10+ yrs

Job Purpose

The Drilling & Workover Advisor will supervise and oversee operations of contract drilling or workover rigs, ensuring compliance with standards and procedures.

This role requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree in engineering with 7 years of experience in drilling and workover operations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and oversee all operations wells.

Make recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered.

Coordinate deliveries of materials to the well to ensure availability when required.

Ensure contractor compliance with contract requirements.

Work with Drilling and Workover engineers to ensure modern drilling practices are followed.

Approve contractor daily tour reports.

Ensure contractor rig and equipment are properly maintained to avoid downtime.

Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supt.

Ensure that Blowout Prevention Standards are met in all respects.

Requirements

Completion of ITC: English, ERW; Math, MI.

Thirteen (13) years relevant experience in drilling and workover operations, including supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig;

B.S. degree in Engineering with seven (7) years of experience in drilling and workover operations, including adequate supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig.

Willingness to live in remote areas in mobile camps.
