Senior Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Senior Specialist to design, build, and maintain analytical solutions that turn raw data into clear, actionable insights. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in data modeling and reporting with an eye for compelling, intuitive visualization.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting needs and deliver dashboards and reports that drive better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI (PBI), ensuring they are accurate, performant, and visually effective.
• Write and optimize DAX measures and calculations to support complex analytical requirements.
• Write, transform, and tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to extract and prepare data from relational sources, ensuring optimal performance.
• Build and manage paginated and operational reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Apply best practices in data visualization to present information clearly and tell a compelling data story for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions, partnering with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting standards.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all BI deliverables.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing dashboards and reporting solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience with Power BI and advanced DAX.
• Strong command of SQL, including advanced querying, data transformation, and performance tuning.
• Excellent knowledge of dashboard building and data visualization principles.
• Practical experience with SSRS for report development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.
