We are also open to considering experienced recruiters for a Principal Consultant position, subject to a proven track record of billings and business development success.

About the Role

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant within our Contract STEM division, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients while delivering high-quality contract recruitment solutions across the STEM market.

You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, developing long-term client relationships, and becoming a trusted market specialist within your sector.

Key Responsibilities

New Client Acquisition

• Proactively identify, target, and secure new clients within the STEM sector.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand your client portfolio.
• Build lasting relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Lead client meetings, present recruitment solutions, and negotiate commercial agreements.

Market & Industry Expertise

• Develop in-depth knowledge of the renewable energy market, key projects, and industry trends.
• Map talent markets and maintain a strong network of active and passive candidates.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence to clients and colleagues.
• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor within your specialist vertical.

Candidate Management

• Build and maintain exceptional relationships with candidates across all levels.
• Guide candidates through the recruitment process from initial engagement through to placement.
• Provide interview preparation, market guidance, and offer management support.
• Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.

Revenue Generation & Performance

• Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales and billing targets.
• Maintain accurate reporting of business development activities and pipeline performance.
• Maximise profitability through effective negotiation and account management.
• Drive continual growth within your market specialism.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years' experience in contract recruitment, ideally within the STEM sector.
• Proven success in securing new clients.
• Strong lead generation and client acquisition experience.
• Commercially driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Resilient, ambitious, and motivated by success.
• A genuine interest in the renewables market and broader STEM industries.
