About the Role

At ScapeTree Technologies, cybersecurity is a strategic business function that protects our clients, digital platforms, and global operations. We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Director to lead our enterprise security strategy, strengthen cyber resilience, and oversee the protection of mission-critical systems across cloud, infrastructure, and application environments.

You will partner with executive leadership to develop security programs that balance innovation, compliance, and operational excellence while safeguarding the organization against an evolving threat landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Cybersecurity Strategy: Develop and execute enterprise cybersecurity strategies that strengthen organizational resilience, protect digital assets, and align security initiatives with long-term business objectives.

Security Governance: Establish cybersecurity policies, security standards, risk management frameworks, and governance processes that ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements.

Threat Management: Lead security operations, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and business continuity planning to minimize organizational risk.

Cloud and Infrastructure Security: Oversee the security of cloud environments, enterprise infrastructure, identity management systems, and network architecture while promoting secure technology adoption.

Risk and Compliance: Conduct enterprise security risk assessments, oversee regulatory compliance initiatives, coordinate internal and external audits, and ensure continuous improvement of security controls.

Cross Functional Leadership: Partner with technology, engineering, legal, compliance, operations, and executive leadership teams to integrate cybersecurity into every stage of business operations and product development.

Leadership Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop cybersecurity managers and technical specialists while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, collaboration, and proactive risk management.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including at least 5 years leading enterprise security programs or cybersecurity organizations within large, complex environments.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is considered an advantage.

Cybersecurity Expertise: Extensive experience in enterprise security architecture, cloud security, governance, risk management, incident response, security operations, identity and access management, regulatory compliance, and cyber resilience.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, SIEM technologies, endpoint security, zero trust architecture, network security, vulnerability management platforms, security automation tools, and enterprise security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST. Professional certifications including CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly desirable.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary cybersecurity teams, influence executive stakeholders, manage complex security initiatives, and deliver measurable improvements in organizational security posture.

Communication: Excellent English communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills are required. Experience presenting cybersecurity strategies and risk assessments to senior leadership and boards is highly preferred.

Pay: QAR25,000.00 - QAR36,000.00 per month
