Job Description

Role Overview

The position is for a Senior Commissioning Engineer (Telecommunications) responsible for: Leading pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities. Ensuring telecom systems are tested, safe, and handed over properly. Acting as a key interface between contractor and asset owner. Delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality & HSE standards.

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication (or similar). 15+ years in Oil & Gas industry. At least 10 years in telecom commissioning, including offshore projects. Strong experience in: FEED & EPIC projects. Contractor deliverables review/approval. Preferable: Chartered Engineer status.

Offshore certifications (BOSIET/FOET). Experience in Instrumentation & Control would be advantageous. Technical Expertise Required Extensive knowledge of telecom systems such as: CCTV, PA/GA systems Radio systems (VHF/UHF/microwave) Structured cabling Telephony (IP phones, hotlines) AIS, e-Mustering, telemetry Network management systems Also requires: FAT/SAT testing experience.

Strong knowledge of engineering standards, HSE, and QA/QC.
