Senior Cloud Solution Engineer

Ably Resources are working with one of Qatar's most prestigious companies and are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Solution Architect to join their team

In this role you will be responsible for

Overseeing the companies Cloud Migration strategy, Cloud solutions and implementation initiatives

Developing and designing Cloud governance strategies around policies and principles that align with the organisations Cloud governance framework

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders

Overseeing and reviewing the organisations Cloud Governance framework

Designing and proposing appropriate cloud monitoring tools and providing suggestions to implement third party products or solutions to automate and expedite the cloud delivery

To be successful in this role you will need

A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an appropriate Engineering/ Business field- Masters degree would be preferable

A minimum of 10 years experience in an enterprise IT environment with at least 7 years of experience working with Cloud Technology design and implementation

Cloud related professional certifications i.e. Microsoft Azure, Google, AWS & Cloud Security etc

Experience in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. Experience with DCaaS or SAP HANA migration would be an asset

Strong knowledge of programming languages including C#, Elixr, Ruby, Python, etc
