We are urgently seeking a Senior Interior Designer with proven, hands-on experience designing luxury villas and palaces, specializing in classic and traditional design styles.
This is an opportunity to work on high-profile, large-scale residential projects where craftsmanship, elegance, and precision define every space. We are looking for someone who doesn't just design — who obsesses over proportion, detailing, and finishing, and who can translate a design vision into fully realized, production-ready documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complete interior concepts for luxury villas and palaces in classic/traditional styles (e.g., neoclassical, French classic, Islamic classic, Ottoman, or similar palatial styles). - Produce photorealistic 3D renders for all proposed designs using 3ds Max with V-Ray or Corona Renderer. - Develop detailed shop drawings for the complete scope of work, including but not limited to: - Ceilings & gypsum details - Wall claddings, panelling, and mouldings - Flooring patterns and inlays - Custom furniture and joinery - Doors, columns, and decorative elements - Lighting layouts and details - Select and specify materials, finishes, fabrics, furniture, and decorative elements consistent with a luxury classic aesthetic. - Coordinate with architects, contractors, and site teams to ensure design intent is accurately executed on site. - Prepare full design packages: concept boards, 3D visualizations, technical drawings, and material/finish schedules. - Review and refine designs based on client feedback with strong attention to detail and design consistency. - Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and presentation. Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in interior design, with a strong focus on luxury villas, palaces, or high-end residential projects. - Demonstrated expertise in classic/traditional interior design (proportion, ornamentation, mouldings, symmetry, and classical detailing). - Advanced proficiency in 3ds Max is mandatory.: - Strong rendering skills using V-Ray and/or Corona Renderer — must be capable of producing high-quality, photorealistic visuals independently. - Proven ability to produce complete and accurate shop drawings for construction and execution. - Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD (for technical drawing production). - Strong understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, and luxury furnishing standards. - Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and design discipline — no shortcuts. - Strong portfolio management and presentation skills. Portfolio Requirement (mandatory): Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing previous work, including: - High-quality, photorealistic 3ds Max / V-Ray / Corona renders of completed or conceptual projects (villas, palaces, or luxury residential interiors). - Corresponding shop drawings for the same or similar projects, demonstrating the ability to carry a design from concept to technical execution. - Applications without a portfolio meeting the above criteria will not be considered._ Preferred Attributes: - Prior experience with palace, royal residence, or five-star hospitality interior projects. - Familiarity with GCC / Middle Eastern classic and neoclassical design preferences (if applicable to project location). - Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines without compromising quality. - Strong communication skills and ability to present design concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
