Technical Co-founder | Pharmacy Platform

Life Box is a Bahrain-based HealthTech startup building an interactive pharmacy platform that connects users with licensed pharmacies and pharmacists through video, voice, and chat.

🧠 This is not a traditional online pharmacy. The journey begins with a pharmacist interaction. The pharmacist reviews the request or prescription, recommends suitable medicines or health products, and adds items to the cart only after the user’s approval. The user then reviews the cart, pays digitally, and follows the order through preparation, pickup, or delivery.

🚀 The Opportunity

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Co-founder & CTO to join at the founding stage and lead the product and technology from MVP to a scalable platform.

This is an equity-based co-founder role, not a traditional salaried job at the current pre-funding stage. Salary may be introduced after funding or sustainable revenue, subject to mutual agreement.

🎯 What You Will Own

• Define the architecture, roadmap, and delivery plan.
• Build and launch the MVP across the user app, pharmacist interface, pharmacy admin, follow-up operations, and platform admin.
• Lead real-time communication using WebRTC or equivalent technologies.
• Design a secure, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Establish cloud infrastructure, DevOps, testing, monitoring, and release processes.
• Implement privacy, role-based access, security controls, and audit logs.
• Make build-vs-buy decisions and help recruit the future engineering team.
• Work with the founder on product priorities and go-to-market execution.

🧩 What We Are Looking For

• Strong software architecture and full-stack development experience.
• Ability to build production-grade web and mobile platforms.
• Experience with real-time video, voice, or messaging systems.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, APIs, databases, security, and DevOps.
• Product thinking, ownership, and the ability to execute with limited resources.
• Willingness to operate as a true co-founder.
• HealthTech, pharmacy, telehealth, or payments experience is helpful but not required.

🌍 Working Model

• Bahrain-based or remote with strong overlap with Bahrain time.
• Part-time during an agreed validation phase may be considered.
• Equity will be subject to founder agreement, milestones, four-year vesting, and a one-year cliff.

📍 Current Stage

The product vision, core user journeys, and MVP scope have been defined and documented. The technical co-founder will help translate them into a secure, scalable technical architecture, define the delivery strategy, and establish the engineering function.
