The Senior Lawyer will play a key role in advising clients, drafting and reviewing contracts, and managing complex legal matters across corporate, commercial, regulatory, and dispute-related cases. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing legal opinions, preparing legal documents and pleadings, representing clients before courts and authorities, and overseeing case strategy and negotiations.

The Senior Lawyer will mentor junior team members, contribute to business development, and help maintain strong client relationships through clear, timely communication. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Muscat, requiring regular collaboration with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in corporate, commercial, and contract law, with the ability to handle complex transactions and advisory work.

Proficiency in litigation, dispute resolution, and representation before courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies.

Advanced legal writing and drafting skills, including contracts, memoranda, legal opinions, pleadings, and policy documents.

Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and sound judgment.

Effective client communication and relationship-management skills, including negotiation and presentation capabilities.

Ability to supervise, mentor, and guide junior lawyers and support staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; an advanced legal degree or professional certification is an advantage.

Relevant bar admission or icense to practice law, with several years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.

Strong command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Arabic is an asset.

Pay: RO800.000 - RO900.000 per month
