What the role is

ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore’s internal security and stability. For over 75 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists.

What you will be working on

As a Mobile App Developer, you will be primarily involved in:

• Conceptualising, designing and building
• Android apps using Java/ Katlin and Native C programming
• iOS apps using Swift programming
• Performing unit test to ensure usability, robustness, edge cases and general reliability
• Collaborating with fellow developers using software version control system

What we are looking for

• Knowledge of Android Studio, Java, Android SDK, Android architecture
• Knowledge of XCode, Swift, iOS SDK, iOS architecture
• Knowledge of both Android and iOS programming
• Knowledge of software version control tool (e.g. GIT, SVN)
• Experience with RESTful programming with JSON and XML
• Knowledge of setting up web server using LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) platform
