Business Growth Manager (Logistics & Freight Forwarding)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the company’s customer base and drive growth within Singapore and the Asia region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to enhance customer retention and identify opportunities for business expansion.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing enquiries, providing solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential opportunities.
• Develop sales proposals, presentations, and solutions in collaboration with internal teams and subject matter experts.
• Manage negotiations with clients, carriers, and service providers to achieve commercially beneficial agreements.
• Collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery and effective customer support.
• Prepare regular sales performance reports, pipeline updates, and business development progress reports for management review.
• Develop strategies to increase overseas routing order (RO) shipments and strengthen customer partnerships.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
• Proven track record in acquiring new clients, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
• Strong understanding of logistics solutions, freight forwarding operations, and industry practices.
• Experience in handling B2B sales, client negotiations, tenders, RFQs, and commercial proposals.
