Senior Officer/Procurement Officer

Responsibilities

Sourcing & Procurement Operations

• Support the preparation and administration of sourcing activities, including RFQs, RFTs and supplier engagement exercises.
• Assist in creating sourcing projects and procurement events within procurement systems.
• Support Category Managers in obtaining quotations, conducting market research and coordinating sourcing activities.
• Prepare procurement documentation and facilitate approval processes in accordance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Support contract administration activities, including contract amendments, renewals, security deposits and insurance documentation where applicable.

Supplier Onboarding

• Support supplier onboarding and supplier information updates as part of the procurement operation process, including verification of supporting documents for completeness and compliance.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding activities with Shared Services Centre (SSC) Supplier Lifecyle and Performance (SLP), suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Perform supplier callback verification and maintain proper records in accordance with company procedures.

Stakeholder & Supplier Coordination

• Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, Finance, End Users and other Business Units (BUs) to clarify requirements and resolve procurement-related queries.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of procurement activities and deliverables.
• Support the resolution of procurement, supplier and payment-related issues through effective stakeholder engagement.

Procurement Analytics & Continuous Improvement

• Assist in procurement reporting, spend analysis and data validation activities.
• Support process improvement initiatives and category management activities as assigned.

General

• Support ad-hoc procurement projects and any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Reporting Officer or Procurement Management from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to learn and work with e-Procurement systems such as SAP, SAP Ariba and other procurement platforms.
• Good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented and able to work accurately with procurement and supplier data.
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
