English Medium Kindergarten Teacher

What the role is

As an English Medium Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a key role in providing our young with an enriched learning experience, nurturing their social skills and preparing them for lifelong learning. You will plan and deliver education programmes in order to help foster holistic learning and development for the children and be involved in parent and community engagement.

• Organise and deliver the curriculum and programmes
• Support the development and implementation of teaching approaches and preparation of learning materials and resources
• Provide a positive learning environment
• Ensure children’s well-being and safety
• Engage parents and education partners
• Monitor and document children’s learning and growth

What we are looking for

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching (DECCE-T); or an equivalent qualification.
• Committed to the development and well-being of children.
• Dedication towards sparking curiosity and the joy of learning.
• An energetic personality.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to engage children.
• Enthusiasm and creativity to nurture the next generation.
• Strong in multi-tasking and organisational skills.
• Applicants should have the fitness and stamina to deliver lessons, and resilience required to engage children safely and carry out their duties effectively.
• Applicants who possess a certificate in Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) Level 3 may be considered for deployment to MK@Mayflower.
