Lead Planning Engineer

Job Purpose

The Lead Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the overall project schedule for Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) projects, spanning engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, integration, and commissioning phases.

The role ensures schedule integrity, provides early warning of delays, and supports proactive decision-making to keep the project on track for sanctioned milestones.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Civil, or related discipline).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in planning/scheduling roles within the oil & gas industry, with significant experience on FPSO or large offshore/marine projects.
• Proven experience covering full project lifecycle: engineering, procurement, fabrication, hull conversion or newbuild, integration, and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of planning tools such as Primavera P6 (essential), MS Project, and reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Solid understanding of contract structures and FPSO project execution strategies.
