RoleOverview

Medeze Group is seeking a dedicated R&D Bioengineering Specialist to join our team at the forefront of regenerative medicine.

In this pivotal role, you will lead efforts to translate scientific innovation into clinical breakthroughs in cornea tissue engineering.Working in a multidisciplinary environment, you will apply advanced regenerative medicine principles to refine artificial cornea scaffolds and develop scalable cell expansion platforms, directly contributing to vision restoration and enhanced patient quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Scaffold Development: Lead the optimization and fabrication of silk-fibroin-gelatin-collagen scaffolds. Apply core regenerative medicine principles to enhance scaffold transparency, mechanical stability, and bio-adhesion.
• Platform Engineering: Design and engineer biomaterial-based microbeads tailored for high-efficiency, three-dimensional expansion of Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs), accelerating the transition from lab-scale research to scalable clinical protocols.
• Data Integrity & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of experimental data and statistical analyses. Prepare reports, invention disclosures, and regulatory documentation to support project advancement.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure laboratory operations and procurement processes strictly adhere to established quality management standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with diverse teams of scientists and clinicians to translate research data into actionable project insights.
• Scientific Advancements: Remain current with literature in regenerative medicine and cornea tissue engineering to drive hypothesis generation, robust experimental design, and continuous process improvement.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical, Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Project Experience: Demonstrable experience in biomedical engineering project work, ideally gained through academic research or prior internships.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong interest in cornea tissue engineering, biomaterials, and regenerative medicine.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience in biomaterial fabrication, characterization, and cell culture techniques.
• Communication: Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to document research findings accurately for both technical and regulatory audiences.
