Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for a passionate Junior Electrical Technician / Engineer to join our team in the offshore and marine industry. This role is ideal for someone eager to build hands-on expertise in electrical systems, automation, and control panel design for deck machinery and hydraulic equipment.

Beyond conventional deck machinery, our team also develops advanced automatic control functions — such as remote crane control systems (similar in concept to robotic arm control) and Active Heave Compensation (AHC) systems that improve wave heave compensation for subsea lifting operations. Candidates who are passionate about continuous improvement and advancing automation technology are strongly encouraged to apply.

Under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will be exposed to:

• Electrical circuit design and drafting using AutoCAD / SolidWorks
• Design and wiring of control panels for deck machinery and hydraulic systems
• Motor control, automation, and PLC-related systems
• Advanced automation functions, including remote crane control and Active Heave Compensation (AHC) systems for subsea lifting
• Hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Onboard vessel servicing and commissioning support
• Coordination with mechanical and hydraulic teams on integrated projects
• The full process from electrical design to panel fabrication, wiring, testing, and commissioning

We aim to develop skilled electrical professionals with strong technical knowledge and practical experience in building reliable, technologically advanced offshore equipment for real-world operations.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline
• Fresh graduates welcome — full training will be provided
• Proficient or familiar with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks for circuit and panel drawing
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits, motor control, and automation systems
• Willing to learn PLC programming and control panel wiring
• Passion for advancing automation technology (e.g. remote control systems, motion/heave compensation) is a strong advantage
• Hands-on attitude with willingness to work in workshop, onboard vessels, and project sites
• Positive working attitude, responsible, and eager to learn from experienced engineers
• Willing to travel locally and overseas when required
