Job Summary

Lead architectural design projects by preparing plans, managing budgets, coordinating teams, and mentoring staff to ensure high-quality, compliant outcomes that meet client expectations.

What you’ll do

• Lead the design of projects from concept stage to design development.
• Develop design ideas, space planning, façade concepts, material selections, and overall project look.
• Prepare drawings, 3D models, renderings, mood boards, diagrams, and presentation materials.
• Create clear and attractive presentations for clients and internal design reviews.
• Understand the client’s brief and turn it into practical and creative design solutions.
• Attend client meetings and present design ideas clearly.
• Review client feedback and improve the design where needed.
• Work closely with project architects, technical teams, consultants, and suppliers.
• Make sure the design intent is carried through in drawings, models, and technical documents.
• Research suitable materials, finishes, and products for the project.
• Guide and mentor junior architects and designers.
• Help the design team meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Attend design meetings, coordination meetings, and site meetings when required.
• Help resolve design-related issues during the project.
• Keep project drawings, design documents, meeting notes, and records organised.
• Support project planning, programme coordination, and budget awareness

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture (BArch/MArch) or equivalent degree
• Fluent proficiency in English to communicate effectively in client and team interactions
• Minimum 5 years of architectural practice experience, including large-scale project involvement
• Knowledge of project processes, fee management, and budgeting to manage financial aspects of projects
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD/Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Grasshopper, and relevant AI applications.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills to manage teams and projects effectively
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possession of an architectural license (preferred but not essential for core duties)
• Experience in design, construction, and project management to enhance project delivery
• Understanding of project coordination and financial management to support comprehensive project oversight
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior architects to foster team development and knowledge transfer
