Senior/Manager (Procurement)

What the role is

The procurement manager will be part of the Procurement team to facilitate procurement activities in URA. This includes providing support and advice to end users on procurement policies and processes, review procurement submissions such as expenditure papers, requirement specifications and recommendations on reports submitted by end users for approval.

Other responsibilities include review of procurement policies and processes, provide guidance to end users to develop contract specifications and vendor selection criteria, formulate appropriate procurement strategies, perform data analytics, automate procurement processes, implement internal control policies and guidelines, and educate staff on government procurement.

What we are looking for

• A good degree with minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement.
• Good understanding of Government Procurement, knowledge of the GeBIZ and Instructions Manual on Procurement and Revenue Contracting, and BCA PQM and QFM framework
• Proficient in data analytics of procurement and strong visualisation skills.
• Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and writing skills.
• Organised and meticulous.
• Able to work to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment.
