Senior Digital Product Owner - Travel Shopping (24-month Contract)

Role Introduction

Reports to: Principal Digital Product Manager

As a Senior Digital Product Owner - Travel Shopping, you will lead the development and execution of strategic product initiatives that drive significant business impact. You will work on complex projects, managing the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond. Your role will involve setting product vision and strategy, conducting advanced market analysis, and defining detailed product requirements.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of product initiatives.

In this position, you will act as the travel shopping (eCommerce) product owner ensuring initiatives, priorities and deliveries across various touchpoints can bring positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Travel Shopping (eCommerce) product owner and responsible for end-to-end delivery
• Observe, identify potential opportunities and evaluate the size of impact thru product design thinking methodology
• Work across different stakeholders (technical/ business teams) to transform business requirements into actionable items to the product development team
• Collaborate with other product owners to define the proposition/ primary objective of different booking products within Cathay’s digital product portfolio
• Prioritize the initiative and items per impact size and capacity in maximizing customer impact
• Conduct UAT to make sure deliverables meets acceptance criteria and provide training to business users if needed
• Responsible for incident investigation and follow up with stakeholders to ensure proper fix/ workaround is in place in a timely manner

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Business or related area with 5 years of experience
• 5+ years of experience in customer facing digital product development, app development/ loyalty product experience will be a plus
• With a customer centric mindset
• Innovative/ creative/ able to think out of the box
• Experience in using data analytic tools
• Strong teamwork and able to collaborate across different teams with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and drive results
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Digital Product Owner
